Everything you need to know before your first event
Motorcycle trials is a non-speed event where riders navigate their bikes over natural or artificial obstacles without putting their feet down or stopping. The sport tests balance, throttle control, and technical riding skills rather than speed.
Each trial consists of multiple "sections" - marked areas containing obstacles that riders must navigate. Points are lost for footing (putting feet down), stopping, going outside the markers, or falling off. The rider with the lowest score wins!
Arrive between 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM. Sign on, pay the entry fee (if not pre payed), and collect your riding number.
Clerk of the Course explains the route, sections, and any final instructions for the day.
Navigate the sections (typically 10 sections, ridden 4 times each) at your own pace.
Results are typically posted within a few hours of the event, at most the day after.

Online pre-entry is always preferred as it really helps us plan the event and support our results team..
You can enter online up until midnight before the event, and if your plans change, we’re happy to refund you. While entries will be accepted on the day (9:30 AM – 10:45 AM), entering in advance makes a big difference to how smoothly the day runs.
