Scunthorpe MCC were proud to be invited down to Barton Bike Night, where our riders put together a trials demonstration that had the crowds gripped from start to finish.
The arena was transformed into a proper test of skill and nerve, with skips, sleepers, and stacks of pallets built up into a demanding obstacle course. Riders picked their way across the tricky terrain, balancing, hopping and climbing their way through, showing the crowd exactly what motorcycle trials is all about.
The turnout was fantastic, with big crowds packed around the arena all night, cheering on every section and gasping at some of the more ambitious lines being ridden.
What made the night even more special was that it was entirely our younger members out there showcasing their skills. With no senior riders on hand, it was all down to the youth squad — and they didn't disappoint. Their confidence, control, and sheer enthusiasm had spectators thoroughly impressed, proving there's real talent coming through the ranks at Scunthorpe MCC.
Huge thanks to everyone at Barton Bike Night for having us down, and a massive well done to every young rider who took part. Events like this are a great way to show off what trials riding is all about, and to bring new faces into the sport — keep an eye on our events page for the next chance to see the club in action!
